HUMC COVID-19 GUIDELINES
Headland United Methodist Church (HUMC) will reopen for morning worship services on June 14th. Please note the following guidelines for reopening.
HUMC leaders and members are not responsible for the spread of COVID-19, therefore all persons attending meetings and worship services at HUMC should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves.
HUMC will continue to offer our worship services live on Facebook and YouTube.
HUMC recommends all persons who are sick, may have come in contact with someone who is sick, those who are high risk or live with someone considered high risk to please continue to utilize our social media services and return when you feel comfortable.
HUMC requests that everyone should wear face mask (except children under the age of 2) during worship services and for all activities. If you have one, please bring one. If not please know that one will be provided when you enter the building.
HUMC will have hand sanitizer at each door and ask that you use it as you enter and exit the building, in accordance with CDC guidelines.
HUMC will require that all members and visitors adhere to guidelines for social distancing. Our pews will be marked off with designated seating, and there will be overflow seating in the Family Life Center.
As we begin back there will be no Morning Fellowship, Sunday School, or Nursery.
HUMC will sanitize all common surfaces and gathering areas with approved disinfectants.
This has been a time like no other time, and we are moving into uncharted territories, but together as brothers and sisters never tire of doing what is good. (2 Thessalonians 3:13) We will be together soon, and we can’t wait.
As the Body of Christ at Headland United Methodist Church we are saved by faith in Jesus Christ, unified in the Word of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit to love, witness and serve in His Name!
“God is light; In him there is no darkness...”
[1 John 1:5]
